How to install and activate
Four steps. Nothing else to do.
- Uninstall your old antivirus program. Two security programs on one computer interfere with each other and often slow the system down. This is the most common installation mistake.
- Download the file for your product from the list above and run it. The installer downloads the latest version itself, so the file is small.
- Enter the activation code from our e-mail. The code looks like this: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX.
- Create a My Kaspersky account or log in to it. There you will see when your licence expires and will be able to transfer it to another device.
Frequently asked questions about installation
I have lost my activation code.
The code always remains in the e-mail we sent you. If you cannot find the e-mail, write to us with your order number or the e-mail address you used to buy – we will send it again.
I have bought a new licence, but the old one is still valid.
You will not lose anything. The new code can be saved in advance in your My Kaspersky account – in the app, tap the profile icon, select the three dots next to the licence information and choose “Save activation code”. The new licence will kick in when the current one ends. An unused code does not expire.
I want to move protection to another computer.
Remove the program from the old device and install it on the new one with the same code. The licence counts the number of devices active at the same time, not the number of installations.
I have both Windows and a phone.
The same licence works on Windows, macOS, Android and iOS – just install the app on each device and enter the same code.
The installation file will not run or is blocked by the browser.
The files are the manufacturer's original installation files. If your browser shows a warning, choose “Keep” and run the file from your downloads folder. If that does not work, write to us and we will help.
