Why buy from an official distributor
The same licence sometimes costs less elsewhere online. The question is whether it will work, and who will be responsible if it does not. Here we explain what official distributor status means in practice.
What an official distributor is
UAB „Atviros informacinės sistemos“ works under a direct agreement with the manufacturer and has been operating in Lithuania since 2004. This means we obtain licences from “Kaspersky Lab” rather than reselling them from intermediaries, and that we are responsible for them.

How can I check whether a seller is official?Official distributors state their company details and issue invoices bearing them. It is also worth checking whether the website has contact details in the local language and a real phone number.
Is the official distributor's price always higher?Not always. The difference usually comes not from the mark-up but from the fact that the cheapest licences online are intended for other regions or are parts of large business licences.
Can you check a licence I have already bought elsewhere?Tell us what you have – we will check whether the product and region are suitable. If the licence is valid, we will simply tell you so.
