E-mail remains the most common starting point of an attack. If your company runs its own mail server, protection must work on the server, not just on employees’ computers.
Key features
- Scanning of malicious attachments and links before an e-mail is delivered
- Protection against phishing and targeted attacks on specific employees
- Spam filtering
- E-mail content rules and quarantine
Who it is for
For companies that manage their own mail flow – via a Microsoft Exchange server or a separate mail gateway. If your mail is hosted in the Microsoft 365 cloud, a better fit is “Security for Microsoft 365”.
Why at server level
When scanning happens on the server, a malicious attachment never reaches any employee's mailbox. This matters not only for security but also when you need to prove that an e-mail was stopped – in quarantine you can see what was blocked and when.
What you need to prepare
You will need server administrator access and an agreed installation time – this is usually done outside working hours so that e-mail is not interrupted.
How it is installed
Whatever the deployment method, e-mails are checked in several layers: signatures, heuristics and behavioural analysis. Sender authenticity is verified using SPF, DKIM, DMARC and domain matching, and phishing attempts hidden in QR codes and AI-generated e-mails are recognised. Attachments can be sanitised using CDR – dangerous content is removed from the document while the file itself remains usable. Password-protected archives are scanned too.
Getting started
- Send an enquiry – form state the number of workstations and the term you want. If you are not sure which tier you need, simply tell us what you have.
- You receive a quote – the same working day. If needed, we can also arrange a trial version so you can try it before buying.
- Licences and getting started – we send you the licence details and a VAT invoice and, if you have any questions, help you get it running.
