Why choose Kaspersky

“Kaspersky Lab” is an international cybersecurity company operating since 1997, founded and still led today by Eugene Kaspersky. Its solutions are used by customers in more than 200 countries and territories on five continents, and they are developed and improved by more than 5,000 specialists – half of whom work in research and threat analysis.

The figures we rely on

  • More than 1 billion devices are protected by Kaspersky solutions, and almost 200,000 organisations worldwide trust the company’s technologies
  • In 2025, Kaspersky systems detected an average of 500,000 new malicious files every day – 7% more than in 2024.
  • In Q2 2026 alone, almost 400 million attacks from the internet were blocked and 52 million unique malicious links were detected
  • In 2025, the products took part in 100 independent tests: first place in 90% of cases and top three in 94%. Since 2013 – more than 1,100 assessments and 965 top-three places
  • The 2026 SE Labs annual awards went to Kaspersky Premium, Kaspersky Small Office Security and Kaspersky Endpoint Security – for the eighth year in a row

Transparency you can verify

Since 2018, Kaspersky has been running its Global Transparency Initiative: processing of European users’ data has been relocated to Switzerland, and 13 Transparency Centres operate worldwide – in Zurich, Utrecht, Madrid, Rome, Istanbul, Singapore, Tokyo and elsewhere. There, independent bodies and partners can review the software source code and data processing practices. Bounties of up to 100,000 US dollars are paid for reports of critical vulnerabilities. The latest SOC 2 Type II audit covered the period from August 2024 to July 2025, and the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certificate was renewed in November 2025.

What we are really up against today

The threat landscape has changed over the past decade. Instead of sophisticated state-sponsored hacker groups, the greatest everyday danger for home users and small and medium-sized businesses now comes from well-disguised scams. According to Kaspersky’s latest data:

  • in early 2026 alone, more than 33,000 attacks posing as popular AI tools were detected – almost five times as many as in 2025;
  • in 2025, more than 144 million malicious e-mail attachments were detected – 15 % more than a year earlier;
  • scammers increasingly pose as OneDrive, Zoom or Facebook notifications in order to obtain login details;
  • more than half of the access to corporate networks sold on the dark web relates to small and medium-sized businesses – they are often an easier target than large corporations.

That is exactly why modern protection – both for the home (Kaspersky Standard, Plus, Premium) and for business (Kaspersky Next) – focuses not only on viruses but also on preventing scams, identity theft and data leaks.
